Time to be Thankful

A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues.  ~Cicero

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.  ~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

At Barron's we are truly grateful and thankful for so many different things. Here's just the beginning of a month-long focus on the blessings we have at Barrons Rental Center!

Charlie Barron, Sr. driving his 1928 Model A
1. We are really thankful for Charlie Barron, Sr. who started Barron's more than 45 years ago-- what a smart, visionary man!

2. We are thankful for white wooden chairs--- people still want and need them in a bad economy!

3. Oh how thankful we are for sororities and fraternities ( and especially their mothers), UGA football, tailgaters, and many departments at UGA who so faithfully call us to help them with their events.

4. We are so thankful that folks fall in love and want to get married--- under tents with tables, chairs and linens!!  We also thankful they stay married and want to celebrate their anniversaries.
Father of the Bride lights, chivari chairs, pole tent!

5. We are thankful for all the awesome caterers in Athens! (There are so many  I'll have to blog about delicious Athens food another day.) For now-- we are so grateful we have warehouse space, so we can provide them with what they need!

6. We are very grateful for OUR CUSTOMERS who are patient with us, come back again and again and who say nice things about us even when we are far from perfect!

7. We are thankful that people sand floors, strip tile, unclogs pipes and plant gardens and  that they allow us to provide equipment and advice to get their jobs done!

Since 7 is the number of perfection, I'll stop there, but we'll be talking about what we're thankful for at Barron's this month, so the list will grow.

I'm sure you're grateful for many things too.
What would they be if you listed a few???
